Throughout my time at RPI I have taken several animation classes as well as classes on 3D object creation. While at RPI I have become vary familiar with Autodesk Maya, a challenging yet very powerful 3D animation program that, while difficult to master, can be used to create some very complicated 3D animation projects.
Some of my animation projects have ranged from basic walk cycles, character movement, and interaction studies to full blown rendering and compiling of a portfolio quality animation. As part of my latest animation class we were asked to come up with a character design, model this character, rig the character, and use it in several projects that highlighted character movement and interaction. In addition to my skills in Autodesk Maya I am also familiar with the other animation/3D rendering software:
