This video project was the culmination of a semester long class in which we created an idea for a short video and then developed that idea into an actual finalized project. As part of this project we learned many aspects in video production including directing, videography, lighting, and sound as well as working as a team both in filming and post production. Additionally we were involved in live video production during the semester in a project with RPITV.
Our final video (still being worked on) is a short story meant to be humorous and ironic as well as entertaining. As part of this project we had to work hard as a group to accomplish our goals and put together a well produced video that reflected our story. Throughout the filming and post production process we worked with state of the art technology with guidance and help from Igor Vamos, one of the famous Yes Men.
Throughout this project I gained many skills in videography and video production. I not only helped direct a portion of the film but also was involved in shooting and lighting other portions of this short film. Additionally we used several programs in post production including Adobe After Effects and Premiere which we became very proficient in.
