The RASS Fest brand and identity evolved out of a class project in which we were tasked to develop a brand for a large arts festival taking place in 4 counties simultaneously: Rensselaer, Albany, Saratoga, and Schenectady (RASS). The project was to develop a logo that encapsulated the character and meaning behind RASS Fest, then from that logo develop a brand that held true to the theme of the festival. Additionally many promotional materials were also developed as well as advertising material and a stationary package.
As part of the final project all of the elements of the brand were to be included in a logo and identity standards manual outlining how the logo and overall brand should be used to professionally, and in a standardized fashion, represent the festival. Throughout this project I gained valuable skills in the following areas of logo and brand development:
